The Miniature Schnauzer Worldwide Yearbook
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why is the book called a "worldwide" yearbook?

We have now published four yearbooks - two of which we consider representative of the breed around the world since a number of dogs from European countries (Holland, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway...) as well as Australia and Canada, Russia, South Africa, and Mexico and Argentina have participated in the two books.

It is our goal to honor the achievements of both conformation and performance dogs each year and we do so by observation of formal rankings published in various countries. For example, in the U.S., the American Kennel Club ranks dogs of each breed by number of dogs defeated during the calendar year. While the points systems may vary from country to country, the honor does not. We hope more and more people from many countries will participate each year.

Is it necessary for my dog to be top-ranked on a formal list to participate?

No. However, we must insist that your dog has earned at least one new title during the calendar year that the book represents, and that title must be verifiable with some national authority in your country's dog-showing organization.

How does it work?

You will pay a small fee to reserve your page in the upcoming book. You may arrange and submit your own page design, or you may request that we design your page (giving you final approval) for an additional fee. Materials will be due by a specific date in January, and the books will be available for sale online from Blurb later in the spring.

What is the cost of the book?

The cost of the book is determined by the number of pages it contains, plus shipping fees and sometimes tax (depending on your state) added by Blurb. You may choose from three types of covers (soft cover, hardbound with dust cover, hardbound with image imprinted into the cover) which also vary in price.

How do I reserve my page/s?

First, decide if you (or someone else) will design/format your page/s. If you provide your pages ready for upload, and if you pay before Dec. 1st at the link below, your page/s will be reserved. You may also snail-mail your payment to:

If you prefer to have us design/format your page/s, your fee per page will increase by $5. You will have final approval, of course. Same payment options as above.
