July-August 2009: "Performance Super Stars"
The MINI Magazine admires and supports those individuals and their dogs who participate in performance events - including especially agility and obedience. This issue honors the current Top 5 AKC Agility dogs, as well as one of the best-known Minis ever to excel in Agility nationwide - "Nigel." Nigel was recently retired and we have his owner's account of that event and how it has affected the family's life. Gay Oltjenbruns contributed an article on knowing when it is TIME to retire an agility dog. Karen Brittan shares her conditioning methods and photos of her own agility dogs. A couple of members of the Simply Schnauzers Forum provide reviews of their dogs favorite toys, and we also review some interesting interactive toys that your dog might enjoy.
